Traditional Psychotherapy is best for those who are seeking support with talking through and processing difficult emotions or wanting support navigating challenging situations in their lives. It is the goal to provide a safe space for you to gain insight into patterns that are no longer serving you and to support an increase in your overall life satisfaction and joy. Our clinicians offer a combination of techniques from Depth Psychology, Motivational Interviewing, Psychodynamic Therapy, and Cognitive-Behavioral Therapies.
Our specialties include, but are not limited to, the management of stress, anxiety, and depression, life transitions, chronic pain, workplace burnout, school problems, "brain fog", and life transitions.
We provide evaluations for the following:
*High Stakes Exams & College Entrance Accommodations (MCAT, ACT, SAT, BAR, etc.)
*ADHD /Learning Disability
*Specific Learning Disabilities (Reading/Math)
*IQ Testing/Gifted Evaluations
*Psychological Testing for Diagnostic Clarity including testing for personality disorders, trauma, anxiety, stress, and depression
*PTSD for insurance needs after fires or other natural disasters
All evaluations include intake, testing, feedback and a comprehensive written report of findings with treatment recommendations.
We are trained ADOS2 Evaluators and can evaluate ages 3 years to adults using various assessments including the ADOS2. We can work with individuals who are pre-verbal to fluent speakers. We also use a variety of other measures including the Migdas2.
This evaluation process will include a thorough history, in-person observation and assessments, rating skills completed by informants, and a comprehensive report with our findings. The report will include numerous recommendations for treatment and support that are tailored for each client.
Immigration psychological evaluations are completed by a Licensed Clinical Psychologist to assess the need for an exception based on a physical or developmental disability or mental impairments. As part of the evaluation process, you will be scheduled for an interview, testing, feedback session, and the N-648 form will be completed if you are found to meet eligibility requirements. All Immigration evaluations are done in person in our office.
Immigrations evaluations can be conducted by our providers in English, Farsi, and Spanish.
